The River Hotel in Ha Tien is designed and built in a modern style, resembling a magnificent boat on the tranquil Giang Thanh River. To the left is the Dong Ho An Nguyet lagoon, to the right is the To Chau bridge connecting the two banks, and in front of the hotel are two peaceful mountains shaped like two elephants lying peacefully on the other side of the romantic Giang Thanh River. In this sacred land, blessed with the wonderful beauty of nature, the River Hotel is one of the most beautiful hotels and a source of pride for the city of Ha Tien. The River Hotel has hosted heads of state and world leaders as part of the tourism and trade development program in the Gulf of Thailand, including projects such as National Highway 1A, which runs through three countries: Vietnam, Cambodia, and Thailand. The River Hotel has also organized other important events, such as the signing of the border marker with Cambodia on June 24, 2012, between Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung and Cambodian Prime Minister Hun Sen. In addition to these important events, the River Hotel also hosts festivals, conferences, galas, year-end summaries, wedding receptions, and other cultural and social events, such as the Lantern Festival (Tao Dan Chieu Anh Cac) held annually during the Lantern Festival in January.
